A Gift overdue.

So this story goes back to the freshman year of my university. Me being an introvert hesitated to work in the student-run societies at my university.

This being a challenge to me, I finally found the courage and decided to give it a go in my 3rd semester. I started volunteering in some events at the university. After working for at least 6–8 months, I found myself capable enough to now apply for Director level positions in societies. I had really worked hard all this time and now this was my goal to serve as the Director Social Media.

In my initial attempt, I failed to become Director. I was devastated and somewhat demoralized. But after some months, a society needed a person to handle their social media for an upcoming mega-event. Cutting long story short, I started working there as a volunteer (not a director), to prove my worth. This lady (Warda) was the event-head and I had to work in collaboration with her.

She was really impressed with my work in the first few days that she had me promoted to the “Director Social Media” post in like 8–10 days. To reach at this spot was not only through my commitment and hard work but mainly because of her being a nice and supporting leader. She pushed me harder beyond my limits and I kept on stretching my limits.

This particular time or moment proved to be a vital moment for me as it really boosted my self-confidence and reason for me to keep believing in myself and my abilities and that God sends good people to you when HE knows that you now deserve to be gifted.

So, Thanks to Warda for providing me a major breakthrough to me. I may have been doubting my abilities if she wouldn’t have been there.

Thank You Warda
